Finding our Way for the Future
How to summarize two years that feel like a lifetime? So much happened, so much has taken place and taken shape. The Pantarei Approach was our vision and now it is ours and others’ reality for the future. It began as a set of observations we had; a knowledge we felt within us, that it could become a path forward for us, as well as for others. We believed it to be a path to find the individuality of ourselves and others, to learning more about people’s uniqueness and their strengths.
The Pantarei Approach was born out of a combination of circumstances. We were dealing with a crisis that overlapped our personal and professional lives, driven by a sense of purpose that left us no other choice but to follow it, and motivated by our passion to share what we had discovered, with others. We used all of our collective knowledge – more than 20 years in the field of somatic personal development – and established our own method, the Pantarei Approach.
If you know us already, you would probably agree, that we – Claudia and Vered, are two very different characters, and two different types of women. What we share however, is a passion to empower others. We love working together, developing our approach, thinking about it, and teaching it to others. From the beginning, it has been clear to us that each of us practice, give sessions and teach, in different ways and this knowledge has helped us in teaching others. We have a deep understanding that there is no ‘one’ way to act, but rather that each individual needs to explore, to find their way to own what we teach and to make it their own.
So as we look back on this year and to the future for the year to come, we thought it valuable to share some insights about our progress and our plans.
How many Pantarei Practitioners have trained with you?
In the last two years we ran 4 classes, each one with more than 30 students. We also supported practitioners who had previously learned a different method with us, with the opportunity to complete their studies. By doing so, they were able to obtain a certificate of the Pantarei Approach.
There are currently more than 200 students and certified practitioners of the Pantarei Approach practicing in different countries around the world.
How many classes are run in parallel?
At the moment there are two classes that are currently learning the Professional Training Program. One group will graduate in February 2019, and the other in November 2019.
During 2019 we plan to book three more classes – one in March (which still has just a few available places left!), another one in June and then a third in October.
Where can I find Practitioners of the Pantarei Approach?
Pantarei Practitioners practice in many countries around the world, with the greatest concentration being in Europe. You can now find certified practitioners in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
We welcome students from different countries to join us, and enjoy the international feeling of the classes we teach.
Where can people learn the Pantarei Approach?
The international school that we established in 2016 was opened in Berlin. The structure of the course makes it more accessible for students from different countries to learn with us, at our school in Berlin. There are 6 modules in total, but each runs for 5 days with breaks of many weeks in between. All the classes are conducted in English, which offers a more universal language option to students from different countries.
We also plan to open a new branch of our studies in the United States, most probably in New York in the Spring of 2020. We are at the moment in the process of finalizing that possibility and look forward to what the future may bring.
Who are the founders of the approach? Who are the teachers?
We, Claudia and Vered, are the co-founders of this approach and we teach the classes together. Each of us has more than 20 years of experience in the field of somatic teaching and we share a common vision and values. In 2019, Merav Gur-Arie will start teaching together with us, and throughout 2019 we will start to train additional teachers.
When will the next class commence and what should I do to register?
The next class will commence in March 2019, in Berlin, Germany. There are only a few more available places in that class, so don’t delay your registration if you are interested. The application process starts with the completion of an application for us to review and get a sense of who you are. When this is completed we will send you a registration form and instructions for payment of fees.
We regularly hold ‘Introductory Meetings’ in Berlin, for people who would like to learn more, or get a taste of our studies. We are also happy to meet people in person and answer any individual questions.
What is Pantarei’s vision for the future?
We will continue to develop and grow as a school in the future, so that our profession also continues to grow. Our dream is for many people to benefit from therapeutic Pantarei Approach sessions. We also believe that the fundamentals of Pantarei Approach can be easily integrated into many other professions and fields and we look forward to exploring those opportunities with the practitioners who have learned with us so far and into the future.
Whilst we continue teaching students to become practitioners, and to teach advance courses to the certified practitioners, we are currently in the process of writing our first book which we are deeply involved in and passionate about.
We end this year with a thankful heart for all of those amazing students, practitioners and clients that remind us every day and in so many ways of our vision. Their commitment strengthens our own mission – to teach people their own uniqueness and together create a society where each person can contribute to the whole, by embracing their own individual being and path forward.
